My Linen Closet Organization – Under $18

I’ve been obsessed with organizing my home more than ever lately and decided to attack my Linen closet. Most people would say that my Linen closet was pretty organized, to begin with, but I wanted to be a little more detailed when it came to grouping the products in my closet.

I stood back and took a look at how my Linen closet was already laid out and took a mental note on what I wanted to change about it.

I started by removing EVERYTHING from ALL of the shelves in my Linen closet. I went through all of the items and threw away anything that was expired and grouped together items by their likeness. As I was organizing my items, I found a few things that didn’t belong in the Linen closet and moved them to their rightful place.

Next, I sprayed the shelves with a Vinegar & Water mix and then I wiped each shelf clean removing dust, dirt, and any spills.

I purchased a few white baskets and trays in various sizes along with a pack of Tags and a box of gallon sized zip lock bags from my local Dollar Tree store (formerly known as Deals) all for $1.00 each plus tax. I repurposed a few boxes and bags that I had available for some of my storage needs which in turn saved me money.

I placed the items back into my Linen closet in their new home location. I flipped the shelf that held the linens with the shelf that held the hair products so that my two-year-old couldn’t reach the hair tools and in turn, it made it easier to access my most used products without bending which saved my back tremendously.
